Copper test coupons for ASTM D130 (also called a Copper Corrosion or Copper Strip Test). These test strips are 1/2" x 3" x 1/8" and are polished per ASTM D130. There test specimens are also used in IP 227.

ASTM D130 is equivalent to ISO 2160 and DIN 51811. Some tests outlined in specifications reference ASTM D130 with modifications; modified ASTM D130 test coupons are available on request. Some older test specifications reference copper strip test methods (such as ASTM D1616, FTM 5101 and FTM 5102) that have since been replaced by ASTM D130.
